Day two

Hey Halie again!

Last night a gal pal wanted to do a work out video. After 10 seconds I knew their "beginner" on the video was far from beginner. I mean 30 minute work outs with no stops for breathers. Seriously? My stamina wasn't enough for those 30 minute work out videos even when I was a size 10. So yeah, they really need to figure out their target audience better. More so if they use technical terms for stuff like Core. That is a work out person's word, not a normal person. Most people don't say  "keep in line with your core" or "hold your core" the only line I know of a normal person with core about themselves is "I ____ to the very core of my being!" and we have no idea where that is!

Moving on. I am not going to cut calories like everyone else in the world. I might reduce but I want long term, not short term so I am just going to make sure I am eating the right number of calories and the right foods. I am also going to do portion control. Cause the stomach is the size of a fist, your fist. So you don't want to shove more than that in there.  This is going to be hard on me since I over eat, and eat fast. Steps I am taking is to eat slower. I don't want to gobble things up in 15 minutes like I been taught to in school. Meaning that if you didn't finish your food in 15 minutes you won't get to eat. I seriously think that school and even work should integrate it so you can take your time to eat and not rush though your meal. otherwise you are just going to get sick and be stuck in a pattern like me where I am said to inhale food.

I am going to eat celery because I do over eat right now and have cravings to eat at random just for the pleasure. Doesn't help that I have an oral fixation and need to bite something sometimes. (don't ask, it's weird. I don't even understand it) So celery would be good as it is pretty much like solid water, but it doesn't hurt your teeth to bite. so many people use it as a way to diet to the extreme. I am merely using it as a tool to help me get on the right track.  It is not the end all save all cure.

Now for sweets, I am hoping to get help from you guys on swagbucks (Halie2004 - my name on there for referrals). That way you guys can help me earn points so I can buy stuff like cocoa almonds and such. which are mostly almonds covered lightly with chocolate powder. would help me get my sweet fix. I am also working on getting nutella. It is good for you. not helpful for losing weight but good for you.

So current goals, eat slower since it takes 15 minutes for your brain to say "I don't need anymore", eat proper portions, drink more water, exercise. anything else?
